No guarantees…but here’s a list of where to stay with your skoolie or RV. Some are free; others require a membership; some will even require a picture of your skoolie to see if it looks acceptable to them.
I know I know..none of us like to be judged by our outward appearance, and we all know your skoolie is no longer a “school bus” but registered & insured as an RV. But for some of these places a home-built RV has to be individually accepted.
It’s just the way it is. Let’s try not to get our nose out of joint.

I’ll add what I can from around the world, but could do with some peoples help 🙂 since we haven’t (yet) done any camping outside North America. So leave pointers/links in the comments below and I’ll gladly add them to the list.

Harvest Hosts: requires membership. I’ve read fascinating stories of friends who have stayed with Harvest Hosts…this is top of my list when we’re heading out in our new skoolie. Once we’re all painted up pretty 🙂
