Hey, Happy Father’s Day to all you father’s out there. Kids going to spoil you? Or is it just another day for you? Everette’s and my father’s are both gone, but of course the kids and I celebrate what a great dad Everette is. So we took him to Fort Rodd Hill yesterday (I’ll post about it later) because today he’s taking a couple sailing out on S/V Quetzal, people who are interested in purchasing her.
Anyways, here’s the weekly update on what’s happening with Our Argo, considering flooring and heat.
Besides getting the seats out so we had a sheltered place to sleep, Everette and I were anxious to lift the floor and get some new flooring down. Its kind of gross thinking about all that might have happened in a school bus…puke and other bodily fluids at some point over the years. I know, gross! But things happen with kids. So we anxiously got our new flooring down and it felt so much better!
At the same time we had to decide whether to keep the big ugly heaters at the front and back of the bus. They take up so much space and need quite a bit of clearance around them.
I didn’t realize that Everette was working on removing a heater when he was so I missed documenting it except for the very end. You’ll have to check out the Video to see what we did, and how our flooring turned out.
P.S. You can see how somebody else removed their heater over here.
